About Me
I'm Shriya, a Digital Designer and Strategist based in New York. I work at the intersection of design, art, technology, and strategy, building systems that are as considered in their thinking as they are in their craft. My process is research-led: I start with questions, map the complexity, and design from a place of genuine understanding. I use AI where it earns its place.
Off the clock: collecting playing cards, shooting hoops, and finding good design everywhere I'm not supposed to be looking.
How I do what I do
From brief to build, here's how I approach the work.
Understand
Before anything else
I start by getting inside the problem: the business context, the audience, the existing system. This means stakeholder conversations, competitive research, and stress-testing the brief before committing to a direction.
Define
Finding the signal in the noise
Research generates options. This step collapses them into a clear point of view: what matters, what doesn't, and what the work needs to do. I map systems, identify constraints, and shape a strategic foundation the design can build on.
Make
Where craft meets strategy
This is where I design: brand systems, UI flows, motion, typography, across every surface the work needs to live on. I use AI tools to prototype faster and explore further, without letting them flatten the decisions that matter.
Refine
Until it's right
Good work rarely ships in one pass. I test, gather feedback, and iterate, paying attention to the details that determine whether something feels considered or merely finished.
My Trusted Toolkit
Craft tools, strategy tools, and the AI layer that connects them.
